Two great activities that go together better than peanut butter and chocolate are audiobooks and jigsaw puzzles. And, coincidentally, both activities are fabulous for the brain. I typically toss out this suggestion during one of those southern blizzards that leaves families trapped together at home and away from their separate and different lives. But, let's say, there was a zombie apocalypse (or some other form of rampant virus). The time between heroic excursions for food, medical supplies, or to rescue a loved one could be spent doing something, or in this case two somethings at the same time, that would also leave you with an unforgettable family experience.
I love audiobooks, especially when I'm working or driving. Right now I'm listening to Clockwork Boys, written by T. Kingfisher and narrated by Khristine Hvam.
