Description

Two people resist the Social Machine across three steampunk city-states surrounded by post-petroleum apocalypse wastelands. The farmlands provide the food for the Trintico Corporate Society. This duty requires strict discipline and devotion to the Motherland, Agrarianna. Shevi finds herself trapped in a place where friendship is considered discrimination and family is against the law. Jackson is thrust into a ruling class with expectations of its own that he can’t abide by. Separately, they perform the impossible task of escaping the Motherland and set out to expose the energy pirates who are draining the Corporate power grid and making life harder on the citizens of Trintico. But what they find only puts them in greater peril in Trintico’s Social Machine.
