I Town

Description

Two people resist the Social Machine across three steampunk city-states surrounded by post-petroleum apocalypse wastelands. The people of Induction Town walk on treadwheels to power the electricity grid of the Trintico Corporate Society. Body weight is a valuable commodity and the measure of status and success. Shevi is a big girl with a bright future, betrothed into one of the biggest families in I Town. Jackson is a skinny kid scavenging a life from crime. They have no future together and try to deny the attraction between them. But the attraction only grows stronger each time they meet. Mr Myrtle is a small man with big aspirations to be an important part in the Social Machine of Trintico. He’ll make sure these deviant teens are steered away from one another.
